The department offers Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D Degree programmes in Computer Science and Engineering to cater to the everlasting demand of the market. The extensive and sufficient laboratory facilities are one of the added advantages of the Department. These facilities are regularly updated to cope with the ever progressing and rapidly advancing technologies being introduced in software development sector.
“Success today requires the agility and drive to constantly rethink, reinvigorate, react, and reinvent”
-Bill Gates
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) administers bachelors, masters and doctoral degree programs in Computer Science and Engineering. The department is committed to provide quality, cutting-edge educational experiences that give students a holistic view of the engineering education and prepare them to take up their career in wide range of industries or establishing startup companies. Some of the students have made their mark in the national level examinations and contests such as UPSC, GATE, NET, Google Summer Code etc. Some of them enter the Postgraduate and Ph.D. program at leading universities in the country as well as around the globe. The curriculum has been designed in a way that it blends the power of engineering and the thrill of exploration. Recognizing the recent trends in computing, the department has also started B.Tech.(Hons) with specialization in three contemporary areas of Blockchain, Data Science and Cyber Security. Core strength of the department lays in its experienced and extremely competent faculty, advanced computing facilities, good placements, ever growing alumni network, emphasis on developing students’ skill set while focusing on leadership and ethics in parallel.
Vision
To provide a solid technical base combined with critical thinking, intelligence and experiential learning while encouraging entrepreneurship through open innovation with quality to address challenges of the millennium.
Mission
M1: The mission of the department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is to provide students with excellent engineering education by endowing students with the knowledge and technical skills so that they excel as engineers and leaders in their professional field.
M2: The department is dedicated to bestow students with the ethical values that prepare them to be committed to life-long learning and good citizenship.

Overview
The Code Warriors Society is established with the aim of polishing skills of students so that they become well conversant in trending technologies like Blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Web Development, Cloud Computing, etc. This society offers several platforms for students to exhibit their skills through participation in various competitive events all through the year.
Goals
- Motivating and guiding students to learn and implement new technologies Blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Web Development, Cloud Computing.
- Providing a working environment to bring innovation.
- Focus on developing projects to address real-world problems.
- Preparing students for job interviews and other careers .
Activities
I. Programming Contests
Students participate in several coding contests to polish their programming skills which can further help them in getting their dream job.
II. Teaching and Guidance
Live sessions by Alumni, faculty members and senior students to teach new and in-demand technologies, understand important or tricky concepts and to provide guidance to boost their careers.
III. Hackathons
Conducting Hackathons based on a specified theme that will encourage students to develop solutions for real world problems.
IV. Projects
Providing project ideas, helping and motivating students to build projects to address real world problems .
